Douglas Says...

Colors and shapes, have become the signature for the Douglas Says...label/collection. August 2008   Douglas Says previwed his  Plus-U collection (full figure) which was wildly received! His work has stood out in and at such venues as The annual Thurgood Marshall college ship fund's fashion show,  two years in a row. As well as sighted on television on "Rip The Runway" B.E.T's fashion showcase. He's a published Author with two book, titled "A-Muse" 2010 and "The Red Dress" 2012. Still to date one of his fondest moments came back in 2007 when asked to submit clothing for the exhibition entitled "Black Style Now", sponsored by Time Warner inc /Essence. Which was hailed as a groundbreaking exploration of The Black Fashion Revolution and Hip-Hop,  housed at the "Museum of the City" on Fifth Avenue. September 2010 his work appeared in Essence magazine, from there everything else is gravy...DS
